Answer : These are the actual photos of locations used for making the popular Windows XP desktop backgrounds - Bliss and Autumn. Bliss was taken in Napa Valley and Autumn in Kilbride, near Ontario.

There is an interesting story about how the Autumn location was found.

    A- Bliss ,Bliss is the name of a BMP image produced from a photograph of a landscape in Sonoma County, California

    B- Kilbride, Canada — a quaint village in Ontario.
