Answer : In his book The Lexus and the Olive Tree(C), Thomas Friedman (A) argued that no two nations with a McDonald's (B) franchise had ever gone to war with one another. This was known as the Golden Arches Theory of Conflict Prevention(X). Later, with Russia(D) and Georgia's(E) war upsetting the theory, Friedman upgraded it to the Dell (F) Theory of Conflict Prevention(Y), in his book The World is Flat(G), whose title is derived from a statement by Nandan Nilekani(H).
